The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.
SASSA will likely be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed with regards to the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The service point created for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra resources to permit the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
For SRD more information, community members can call toll free during working days/hours on 0800 60 10 11 and WhatsApp on 082 046 8553. - SAnews.gov.za
